Most joint supplements are built around glucosamine, chondroitin and green-lipped mussel. Collagen is absent from most of them.
Pawable Collar-gen is 100% collagen and nothing else. A multi-collagen blend of hydrolysed bovine hide and cartilage collagen with eggshell collagen, giving types I, II, III, V and X, plus undenatured type II (UC-II).
Daily Collagen Support
Collagen powder for dogs provides a natural source of protein that helps support healthy joints, cartilage and connective tissues. It also contributes to healthy skin and a shiny, healthy coat, making it a simple addition to your dog's daily routine.
Collagen provides nutritional building blocks found naturally throughout your dog's body, including in cartilage, bones, muscles and tendons. As part of a balanced diet, consistent daily supplementation can help maintain healthy joints and support mobility and comfort.
The benefits of collagen build gradually with regular use, which is why many owners choose to include it as part of their dog's long-term daily routine — helping them stay active and continue enjoying the walks, playtime and adventures they love.
90 Day Money Back Promise
Owners’ experiences vary.
Many describe noticing something over the first few weeks. For others it’s a slower, gentler change across a few months.
So give it 90 days before you decide. Ninety days is also exactly how long you have to change your mind.
If you don’t think it’s done anything for your dog, send the pack back - even if it’s empty - and we’ll refund what you paid for it. You cover the postage back to us; we refund the full price of the product.

My dog is 7 years old, she's a Labrador crossed with a collie and a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and she is ball obsessed!!!!
She started limping after chasing her ball too much, so I rested her and limited her walks, she was not happy! The limp kept recurring even after stopping throwing the ball and rest/reduced walks. I decided to try Pawable collar-gen to help ease her discomfort. Wow, within 3 days of adding it to her food then limp had significantly reduced! Within a week then limp had gone! She's been having this for about 3 months now and the limp has only returned a couple of times but in all fairness that's when she's ran like a loon in the garden chasing the birds! I have recommended it to my friends for their dogs.
Barney is nearly 11 yrs old. He’s had a few problems with his legs so I decided to try Pawable Collagen. We have seen a definite change. He is moving better and his fur is beautifully soft now. He’s a Border terrier. This has been a supplement that I am the most pleased with. I put it in his water bowl daily as he drinks a lot which is easy to get into him as he’s fussy about tablets. I can recommend this supplement.
My dog developed a limp but we don’t know the cause. It has definitely improved since taking Pawable Collagen and definitely improved her appetite she loves it. We don’t over exercise her now just in case. Neil was extremely helpful when my parcel got lost in the post.
Flynn is a large breed Bulgarian rescue dog who is 5 in October. I started him on Collagen a few months ago to try and keep him mobile and try and avoid arthritis as he gets older. Since taking this product he has not limped and is more energetic on walks.
Lily is coming up to 15 years old and has slowed up considerably over the last few months, since taking the Pawable she had been livelier and keener to go further on her walks which is brilliant 🐶 👍
We tried this product as our 10 yr old Labrador was showing signs of slowing down on walks with stiffness. We have been using it for nearly a month now and we are seeing slight improvements which has made me re order the product and hopefully keep seeing my boy move easier. I would recommend this product. It has also made his coat even shinier than before!
My little Lola had been slowing down, alot more than I thought. Gone were the days of leaping through the long grass. Until I discovered pawable! Her energy is back, her spark and our lovely longer walks. She's even paddling in the sea again!
Bertie has always had joint weakness and dusty coat since he was about 3 years old. He would easily go lame even after a walk where we never played ball. My neighbour “mouse the singing dog” recommended this supplement and it changed Bertie’s world. He very rarely goes lame and his coat is so silky shiny people always mention it.
Cannot recommend enough…..also he LOVES the taste :)
Dougie is 9 and was starting to slow down on walks, stopped playing with his toys and generally not engaged with life. He has been on Pawable now for four months and is now running ahead of us again on his walks, his toys are now being played with again, he is getting up easier from sleeping and quite honestly it is like having our 4 year old dog back again. I was very sceptical when trying collagen supplements but I am very glad I did.
Storm is a working Springer Spaniel. He works on shoots in winter flushing birds and retrieving them. He is 10 now and was starting to slow down but a daily dose of Collargen has helped him continue to enjoy his work
Belles been on collagen for 2 months we’ve noticed the difference when she gets up she was limping but soon after we started using it she gets up a lot easier
I have a retired Army Malinois who will be 12 in a few months. We now stay active with scent sports like mantrailing as well as camping and gentle hiking.
She tells me the pawable collagen is delicious and never upsets her stomach. Quality stuff 👍🏻
Wilson has elbow arthritis he was diagnosed at the age of five he’s eight next month he does fortnightly hydrotherapy sessions, just loves swimming. Tried the collagen absolute game changer it took effect almost immediately we are delighted with the results, he’s much happier in himself and is better than ever. Thank you so much brilliant product.
My Greyhound Boots will be 11 in August, she’s been on Collagen for a few months now and moves very freely for an old girl. The hedge you see in the video is very thick but she still managed to dive right through it chasing a rabbit a couple of days after the video was taken 😂
My dog Zeus last summer started licking and nibbling patches on his hind quarters not the legs but the hips. Nibbling and licking all the way to bare skin leaving bald patches and making it bleed. We hadn't changed his food in any way or his flea treatment. We took him to the vet she said food allergy, going swimming in the river and picking up something. We hadn't changed his food he was 6 years old at the time. We started rinsing him after he had been swimming. Nothing made any difference. The vet prescribed an antihistamine which only worked whilst he was on it and cost £40 for 10 days and the vet wouldn't prescribe it without seeing Zeus every 10 days another £40, the vet also prescribed antibiotics because some of the patches had got infected, cost us about £300 altogether. Then I saw something on Facebook about collagen from Pawable and thought anything is worth trying. I was sceptical. Within 14 days the licking and nibbling stopped. We could safely leave Zeus to go shopping or out to dinner and not worry or have to put a cone on him. Best money I've ever spent and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pawable collagen to friends and family. Saved me so much on vet bills and has given me back my peace of mind. Thank you Pawable.
Getting on well for an 11 1/2 year old retired search dog. Some stiffness and discomfort but am using the Collar-Gen with a combination of other supplements which seems to work for him. Still able to jump in and out of car boot, on settees and beds. Picture taken after swimming at the beach.
Mabel has really struggled with her ailments getting old .
Since using the collagen powder she has had more energy and definitely less stiff joints.
She is a happy Bully again .
Today she celebrates her 9th Birthday.
Thank You Pawable
I was sceptical about this product after trying Youmove and getting no improvement but I tried it. Three weeks later I started to see a big improvement in her badly arthritic shoulders. She's too old for miracles, but she is back to loving her life again. I will be buying more.
Breeze is just approaching her 11th birthday.
She has always been an active dog and loved walks and swimming.
We noticed late in 2024 that she was taking much longer to recover after our weekly big walk of about 1.5 miles, sometimes she would want to turn back when we were half way around and her mobility was noticeably declining.
We trialled a glucosamine product and after a couple of months she definitely improved, we then on our vets advice used an increased strength which we could purchase without a prescription.
At the beginning of this year 2026 she started to struggle again with mobility she also lacked
vitality and her coat lacked lustre.
I read up on collagen as an additional supplement
and found some very good reviews about Pawable.
In March we decided to have a trial period of three months.
After 5 or 6 weeks she was noticeably looking better, brighter eyes, coat looking better , mobility improved and keen to walk again.
Now as the end of the three months approaches
she is a different dog , as well as easier exercise it is a pleasure to see her mobility very much improved and to see her rolling and playing with our younger labrador, her coat has got it's gloss back and she is very much happier.
Extremely pleased with the outcome of adding Pawable collagen to her diet, she eats it with her food with no problems.
Thank you both for the messages and support during this period, I would certainly advise anyone to use this for a trial period rather than expensive anti inflammatory prescription drugs.
I realise it will not suit every case but it has certainly proved a success for us, Thank You !
Jacob was rehomed to us at age two and a half after a difficult start to his life.
I started him on Pawable when he was about eight and he’s now nearly nine and a half.
I mix it in to his food (he’s raw fed) and he loves it! I like the fact it’s powder and not tablets as he’s not good at taking tablets!
He’s still very active and everyone thinks he’s younger than he is!
Pawable works amazing on our 2 dogs
Their joints are so much more flexible
Barney is 13 and Casper is 10 .
They both run around and roll around the floor play fighting like a couple of puppies .
They both seem so much happier 🐕🐶 thanks to Pawable !
Rigby was struggling with stiffness and a touch of arthritis in his front paw a little and he's always been a very active dog - at nearly 14 now pawable has definitely supported his mobility - this was one of the first products that really helped him and continues to have it now. He's still enjoying his walks now
Pixel has been on this for four months now, after three months I noticed a difference with his itchiness, he seems so much better now & is off all his medication & just on this for his skin & hasn't made himself sore, usually this time of year he would be throwing himself on the floor after being up the fields, even on medication but now he doesn't, would recommend to try this for your dog, my mum has just started her dog on it too!
Brodie is a 9 Yr old Affenpinscher. She started being very stiff a couple of years ago. Her front legs being worse. She was reluctant to go for a walk and wasn't really enjoying life very much. I got her to her optimum weight, gave her salmon oil but nothing made her walk better. My daughter recommended Collar-gen. After using it for 6 weeks I can definitely see some improvement in Brodie. She actually sprinted in from the garden this morning. We'll definitely keep using it.
Highly recommended 👌
My lexy is 14 years old and is not so steady on her legs. She has been on pawable for about a year and it seems to help. It's hard to tell but she is still enjoying her walks.
Our boy Pointer Ziggy is 13 in August ‘26. He’s been on Pawable since September ‘25. After 3 months we noticed he was very spritely again! He walks for an hour and a half to two hours most days and is keeping up with our Pointer bitch Blossom only 8 years old.
Thank you Pawable.
Rosie is 12 ¹/2 years old and can still run fast across the field. She amazes everyone as she has had health issues. Her coat is lovely and soft and shiny.
Our collie has had arthritis in his back leg for a number of years now. However, with age(14) he was starting to really struggle with it
As a last resort we tried Pawable collagen powder and what a difference. Now when he goes out with us, you can see he has a skip in his step and he is starting to enjoy going for walks again.
It’s taken over three weeks, but we can now see the results- thank you 🙏
Milo is nearly 13 1/2 year old sprocker. He came to us for fostering at just over 1 years old. We loved him and his inquisitive personality so he stayed with us.
He started slowing down and struggled with moving and stiffness around his hips and back. We knew we needed to support so started researching the best collagen for him. The reviews for Pawable were really good so we decided to try it. What a huge difference it has made. The results are visible and he is so much happier Thank you 😊
As our large dog is slowly aging (he will be 9 years old this August), he was often quite stiff getting up in the morning or after a nap. On walks he was not as keen to run or even just walk for longer distances. A friend recommended Pawable and after reading the reviews, I was willing to give it a try. After a few weeks putting the powder into his two meals a day, he is definitely showing an improvement. No stiffness and he is a lot more active too. Will continue to use Pawable now for sure.
My 12yr old was starting to get stiff in his back legs, we tried a well known max strength vitamin but after a few months we didn’t see any improvement so after looking for other options to help we came across this product and it’s honestly been the best thing for my boy. After a couple of weeks you could see the improvement he was not as stiff when getting up and he can enjoy his walks again. We have been using this product for at least 6 months now and will continue to use it 😊
Kevin the boxer is now 11 years old, he was beginning to slow up so I put him on pawable collar-gen and he is enjoying running around with the spaniels again. Would definitely recommend this for all aging dogs.
Logan is a 5 year old cockapoo he has had bad allergies most of his adult life. I started eliminating things from his diet, and buying various products that said it helps with itching and biting, none helped my boy. I took him to the vets and they were very good we explored things together but in the end he has tried cytopoint this didn’t work at all apoquil work for 3v years but towards the end of last year he got worse he would bite his bum and he dose not have issues with anal glads he also makes his paws bleed.. I saw on fb advertising a liquid collagen but after doing research I decided to give pawable a go. And yes I am very surprised he still needs his medicine but not every day now his biting his bum and feet are a lot less and I will definitely continue to use this product I mix it with another product canine prime which I’ve been using for a while I’m not sure if pawable will allow him to come meds free but I do think there is a chance of a less itching self
My staffy is 10 years old and i have noticed he has been slowing down he has been on the Pawable for about 3 weeks and i have noticed a spring in his step and he is now also jumping back on the sofa which he has stopped doing without aid so i will definitely be continuing on this powder.
Bear has been struggling with arthritis for a couple of years. He takes supplements daily and is prescribed anti inflammatory medication by his vet. All was ok until a couple of months ago when Bear started to limp on one of his from legs. This got quite pronounced so I began searching to see if I could find any additional support and came across Pawable Collagen. Bear has been taking the collagen for a month now and it appears to be making a real difference. He is no longer limping and is back to enjoying his walks. I truly believe Pawable collagen has supported Bear to become more active again. We continue with the supplements and the prescribed pain relief but Pawable collagen has given Bear his quality of life back.
Jura has arthritis in her front paws and also suffers with an allergy this time of year that makes the skin around her chest and front legs itchy. As a result she does get baldness.
Pawable Collagen I believe has not only helped with her mobility but her coat is glossy and thick, the best it’s been in a long time. She is still scratching a small amount but this is very much improved.
She loves her Pawable collagen on her food everyday and I can really see the benefits for her.
Your dog's joints rely on far more than just one collagen type:
Pawable combines multiple hydrolysed collagen types with undenatured type II collagen in one daily formula.
Collagen isn't one single thing. There are several types, and they sit in different places in a dog's body: Type I in tendons, bone and connective tissue, Type II in cartilage, Type III alongside Type I, and Types V and X in smaller amounts.
Pawable is made from three collagen sources rather than one:
- Hydrolysed bovine collagen, from cattle hide and cartilage - Undenatured collagen type II (UC-II), from chicken sternum - Hydrolysed eggshell collagen
Between them, they provide hydrolysed collagen types I, II, III, V and X, plus undenatured type II.
That's the full ingredient list. 100% collagen. No fillers, no bulking agents, nothing else. One daily scoop, mixed into food, served based on your dog's size. Made in a GMP-certified facility.
Our high quality, 100% natural collagen with no other ingredients, contains:
Hydrolysed bovine (cattle hide & cartilage) collagen, hydrolysed eggshell collagen plus undenatured collagen type II (UC-II)
Providing a blend of HYDRLOYSED collagen types: I, II, III, V & X plus UNDENATURED collagen type II
Pawable is the first and only product of its kind that combines the power of multiple hydrolysed collagen AND undenatured collagen.

Collagen Questions
What are the signs my dog may benefit from collagen?
Many owners choose to add collagen to their dog’s routine when they begin noticing common age-related changes such as:
Slowing down on walks
Reluctance to jump or climb stairs
Stiffness after resting
Less interest in playtime
Reduced energy or enthusiasm
A dull or dry-looking coat
General signs of ageing
Collagen is commonly used to support healthy joints, connective tissue, skin, and coat condition in dogs of all ages particularly active breeds and older dogs.
As with any supplement, consistency matters. Many owners choose to feed collagen daily as part of their long-term wellness routine.
Does collagen help dogs shed less?
Some dog owners report noticing improvements in coat condition after adding collagen to their dog’s diet. Because collagen is an important structural protein found in the skin and coat, it may help support healthy skin and a shinier-looking coat as part of a balanced diet.
Several Pawable customers have also told us they noticed their dog’s coat appeared softer, fuller, or glossier after consistent daily use.
Is collagen better than glucosamine for dogs?
Collagen and glucosamine work differently, so one is not necessarily “better” than the other. Many dog owners choose to use collagen alongside traditional joint supplements as part of a broader daily routine to support mobility, comfort, and active ageing.
Most owners notice improvements in their dog’s mobility, stiffness, coat condition, or general energy levels over time.
My dog already takes a joint supplement. Can they take Pawable collagen too?
Yes, Pawable collagen can be taken with (or instead of) any other non-collagen joint supplement.
How much collagen for a dog per day?
The daily recommended serving depends on your dog's size and weight:
Small Dog: up to 10kg 2.5 grams (1 level teaspoon)
Medium Dog: 10kg - 22kg 5 grams (2 level teaspoons)
Large Dog: 22kg - 50kg 7.5 grams (3 level teaspoons)
Extra Large Dog: 50kg+ 10 grams (4 level teaspoons)
How long will one pack last?
Based on our daily recommended servings:
Small Dog: up to 10kg 90 days
Medium Dog: 10kg - 22kg 45 days
Large Dog: 22kg - 50kg 30 days
Extra Large Dog: 50kg+ 22 days
Is your packaging eco-friendly?
Yes! Our packaging is made from a recyclable material meaning once you've finished your pack you can pop it straight into your plastic recycling.
Do you have a money back guarantee?
Yes! Order Pawable with confidence, if you're unsatisfied for any reason we'll refund your money...even if you send us back an empty packet!
How long does it take to see results?
While some customers report improvements within several weeks it is wise to expect gradual improvements over 3 months.
My dog is on medication, can they also have Pawable collagen?
There are no known interactions with any medications.
Collagen is a natural, non-toxic food supplement considered 'generally safe'.
If you have any concerns we recommend you speak with your vet.
What are the side effects of collagen for dogs?
Collagen is generally, a well-tolerated and natural support for joint health. However, as with any supplement, there are potential side effects to be aware of. Although these are relatively rare and typically mild.
These may include mild digestive system upset. If your dog is sensitive to dietary changes we recommend you start out with small test servings and then introduce larger quantities slowly over time. If Pawable collagen does prove unsuitable for your dog then our 90 day guarantee applies.
How often should I give my dog collagen?
Pawable's collagen for dogs is designed for everyday use as part of your dog’s daily routine.
If your dog eats multiple meals a day, we recommend splitting their daily serving across their meals for best results.
How to add collagen to a dogs' diet?
Adding collagen to your dog’s diet is simple. Just mix the recommended daily amount of Pawable's collagen powder into their regular food—wet, dry, or raw. It has a natural meaty aroma that most dogs love, making it an easy addition to their daily routine.
Will my dog like the taste?
Absolutely! Pawable’s collagen powder has a naturally meaty aroma that most dogs love. Simply mix it into their regular meal and watch their tail wag. Hundreds of pet parents tell us their dogs lick the bowl clean.
At what age can I start giving my dog collagen supplements?
You can start supporting your dog’s joint health with Pawable Collagen as soon as they reach adulthood. While many of our customers use it to help senior dogs and older dogs stay comfortable and enjoy longer walks, collagen can also be a great proactive addition to the diet of adult dogs. Early support may help maintain healthy joints, mobility, and playfulness as your dog ages, especially as they begin to produce less collagen naturally as they age.
